Es gibt gute Nachrichten für weibliche Nintendo Wii Fans. Nintendo hat sich ans Herz gefasst und bringt jetzt eine angepasste Wii Konsole, extra angepasst für das weibliche Geschlecht. Passende Wii Spiele dürfen natürlich auch nicht fehlen

Super Mario is back

Super Mario lebt! Kürzlich ist Super Mario in Paris aufgetaucht und hat dort die Stadt unsicher gemacht. Die populärste Videospielfigur eines fernöstlichen Konsolenspielanbieters düst in einem Kart durch Paris. Hinter dieser Aktion steckt der französische Performancekünstler Remi Gaillard. Als Super Mario verkleidet hat er sich in ein Kart gesetzt und – ganz stilecht – Bananen als Waffen auf die Fahrbahn geworfen.

Im Videospiel handelt es sich beim Mario um einen schnauzbärtigen, etwas kleingewachsenen, dicklichen, italienischen Klempner, der Prinzessin retten oder andere Aufgaben lösen muss.

Charakteristisch sind blaue Latzhose, rotes Hemd und die rote Schirmmütze mit einem M-Emblem.

Mit über 295 Millionen verkauften Spielen ist Super Mario die bisher erfolgreichste Videospielreihe überhaupt und eine der bekanntesten Videospielfiguren weltweit.

2005 wurde Super Mario mit einem Stern auf dem Walk of Fame geehrt.

Google Fail – Germany’s new look

Germany’s new Borders. Apparently Google has missed some geography lessons or failed resizing the german map so it looks quite distorted on their german page. I just wondered if Germany’s borders have changed over night. Living in Germany that would have affected us quite a bit. After reading the current news my heart rate went back to normal. It just seems to be a little FAIL from Google

My first thought was that Google just forgot East-Germany or that they picked a map of the time when Austria and Hungary were still part of Germany, a quite common fault which some news-agencies have already made in the past. But in the end I just think they failed resizing the picture correctly.
